We are your children
a sung prayer to the essence of life
Eli Schewa sings mainly his own compositions and accompanies himself on harps (Celtic/Gothic and pedal harp)

INTRODUCTION
Most of the pieces are inspirations that ‘revealed’ themself to Eli Schewa in unexpected moments
in terms of music and content (lyrics) between July 2024 and July 2025.
The theme is the opening of access from the physical to the subtle
world on various levels, such as the angels or the Great Mother.
The song ‘Brothers and Sisters of Light’ expresses the assumption, that there are benevolent
beings of Light in this universe, who can support us in our global process.
Some of the pieces are dedicated to the angelic orders of the Ishim, Elim, Erelim, Haschmalim, Thrones, Cherubim and Seraphim, who cannot be separated from us Human beings,
as well as to the great heavenly powers such as Michael (e.g. NT Revelation
12:7-8), Melchizedek (e.g. Genesis 14:18) and Metatron (e.g. Genesis 17:1). According to the wisdom teachings of Kabbalah, Human beings, created as divine beings, as microcosms, combine all these aspects within.
In addition, Eli Schewa sings harmonious melodies in praise of Divine love,
the essence of life, from which we were all created and from which we
are always loved.
She does this primarily in the name of the female kind as the Great Mother, and here she also addresses the loving Father by name for the first time.
With Western-based prayer content such as in the Pie
Jesu, the name of Mary also with the aspect of Sophia, Hallelujah,
or the less frequently mentioned love between Mary Magdalene and the Christ,
she refers to spiritually familiar contents and breathes new life into it.
The connections between individual words and prayers from ancient languages such as Ancient Egyptian, Hebrew, Aramaic, Ancient Greek, Sanskrit, Latin, as well as from living languages
such as her mother tongue High German, the widely spoken English, Hindi
(official language of India), French, as well as words from Russian, Ukrainian
and Arabic, come together under one roof despite their differences and precisely in relation to
the current situation in the world.
Mother Earth, on which we as spiritual beings are allowed to have a physical experience,
is given a very special significance: ‘We are your children’ – "You
are our mother". Eli Schewa is always particularly moved by the beauty,
diversity, generosity, intelligence, loyalty and strength that nature
gives us every day.
The many challenges we are experiencing on this planet today
give Eli Schewa no peace. This music is therefore a prayer, a plea
for help from the spiritual world, and a call for awakening to us humans. With
the intention of a prayer, she sings of the essence of life, the love that is the foundation of everything!
In this work, ‘Wir sind deine Kinder’ (We are your children), Eli Schewa moves between newly conceived musical colour compositions, colour moods and simple melodies,
which also invite the listener to sing along. Chromatic movements and meditative
harmonies merge into one another.
She accompanies herself on the Gothic-Celtic harp (built by
Claude Biolay, Lake Neuchâtel, Switzerland) and on a concert harp (Salvi/Erard, revised by
Gerard David, Sainte-Croix, Switzerland) on which she learned to play the harp as a child and
which has returned to her in a miraculous way. The harp, especially the
concert harp, has been given a new light in her new musical expression.
Eli Schewa is moved by the wish that consciousness of the greater
dimensions and connections will expand more and more. In her view, the personal
transformational process plays a central role in the collective change.
In this way, healing in the individual can actively contribute to collective peace work
and increase hope for a bright future for our planet
and humanity as a peaceful coexisting community.
